IT didn't take long to realize this is just another Ford with 100K on it needing a lot of work.
Almost every 100K Expedition we looked at needed tires, rear springs, all shocks, a full tuneup,
brakes, and brake lines (rusted out). Look for one that was well cared for. The engine and trans
are die-hards, particularly the 4.6! Everything else can be problematic, particularly the EGR and
emissions control systems and the front ends. Ours cost a LOT of money to get from 110K to 120K miles!
