1986 Honda Civic CRX Si

This is a very fun to drive, easy to toss little car. An extremely lightweight car with plastic doghouse and other areas on the car, it gets up to speed very quickly, and it gets great gas mileage!
Some specs:
- 1.5L fuel injected 4 cylinder 12 valve SOHC engine
- 1.5 liter I4 91 bhp @ 5500 rpm, 93 lb-ft @ 4500 rpm
- 0-60 in 8.7 seconds, 1/4 mile in 16.2 seconds
- 1955 lb, 147.8" long, 63.9" wide, 50.8" high, 86.6" wheelbase
- 5 speed manual trans, 14x6" alloy rims with BSW tires
- Air conditioning, no power rack-and-pinion steering, adjustable intermittent wipers, digital clock
- Tachometer and rear defroster
- Black exterior with black interior
- Stock '89 CRX Si rims
- Pioneer Premier DEH-230 CD player
- 4" Polk speakers in doors
- RF 250A2 amp
- Pioneer 2 way 5.25" bass-reflex boxes
- Hyper white driving lights and lighted washer nozzles
- Twin rolled chrome exhaust outlets
- Custom air intake, made from Tenzo cone air filter and Weapon R aluminum tube
- Emergency brake. If it doesn't work right, you have to replace two $75 cables, plus rear calipers, rotors, and pads. EXPENSIVE!
- Automatic transmission. They just didn't last.
- Timing belt. Every 60K in this car, and they mean it. High compression engine. If the belt goes, so do the valves.
- Alternators are expensive repairs due to their location in the engine bay (bottom, back)
- Clicking in the front end during turns indicates bad CV joints and possibly the entire axle is bad.
- These cars weigh very little. They have plastic front ends, fenders, and bumpers. With trucks on the road, I wonder about this car's crashworthiness?
